Caller: Claimed they were from Telstra

Complete scam, indian accent, saying my IP address was unsecure, asking how many lights were lit up on my router. When I told her she was a scammer I don't have a router, and you'll hang up now, she did.

Caller: Scammer claiming to be from Telstra

Wanted me to open my run command and gain remote access to my computer. Do not be fooled by this. Scammers!!!

I missed the call, but they left a voicemail. The voicemail was a pre-recorded automated voice that made no sense at all. Just listing a bunch of menu short-cut keys. Feels like a scammer to me.

Was robotic voice saying I owed them $199.99 but if I wanted it refunded (?) I need to press 9 to go through to an operator

This number called me telling me hackers were using my internet they wanted me to download a app from Google playstore which allows remote access to my mobile to alter apk files

I played along gained access to their call centre ddos attacked and changed server bios settings.. estimated damage of 35k worth of servers

They rang many times once I took it they wanna check (he said he’s from Telstra )my internet speed and says there was hacking activity when he’s trying to pop me up with AnyDesk I felt suspicious and hang up and after that they keeps ringing 6 times. Please don’t take it

Just had call from this number re my IP address wanted me to download software to protect me from scammers - while I was trying not to laugh stringing them along told her there was no way I was downloading any software - just hung up still having a giggle

Caller stated she was from Telstra stating there were issues with my internet.
When I asked them to confirm my details they hung up. Total scam.
BEWARE - DO NOT give anyone your personal details UNLESS you have contacted someone directly. YOU should know if YOU are having issues with your internet.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be Telstra

Complete Scam. Pretending to be Telstra and said my internet was hacked.
When questioned what internet service it was and who was it for, they couldn't answer.

Caller: scam call

Caller has called me two days in a row saying they were from telstra and there was a problem with my broadband. Wanted to speak to the Account owner. When I asked if they could give me the name of the account owner they hung up. Have now blocked the number.

Caller: Said Telstra

Call from woman (Serena - Indic accent), claiming to be from Telstra. When I questioned her, she said she could give ID, then hung up. She also called two days prior. She also called from (08) 6373 6360 on 2nd Sept. and I blocked that number. Definitely a scam.

Same phone number used, called my mobile twice today and said they were from Telstra. I hung up immediately without listening any further.

Claimed to be from Telstra, said her name was Selina. They hung up on me after I said I wasn't free to talk. Scam call. Ignore them.

Scammers pretending to be calling from a wholesale internet distributor. When I questioned the legitimacy of the call, I was told to look up the landline number and that he could provide a licence number, clearly lying. What was more concerning was that I did call my internet provider a week prior to ask about my home internet connection. To have a scammer calling me about my home internet security, I almost fell for it. It could well be a coincidence but it sits uncomfortably with me. Be warned!
