Caller: Sylvia (with a slight Indian sounding accent), in behalf of Telstra Yesterday I received a call & Sylvia told there was an issue with my internet, then she transferred to a technician. I didn't get his name as I he had a thick Indian sounding accent & was different to understand. He wanted me to Google 'W3C validation' then click on the link that came up, which I did not do. After a few minutes I hung up. They rang me back 5 or 6 times, but I didn't answer the phone.
Sylvia again today following up from yesterday & me not accepting there other calls after I hung up on them yesterday.
Pretty sure it's a scam. I wouldn't expect a representative of Telstra to get me to go to a site that wasn't theirs, or ask me to download anything from another site so they can access my internet!
