I don't answer any calls in Australia anymore because of these stupid phishing calls... unless it is a number in my contacts list or they send me a message beforehand saying they will call, they get ignored! Every effing call I receive (and most SMS msgs) are scammers or charity crap these days.

This moron will never leave a number, and the question needs to be asked why Telcos can't stop these brain dead telemarketers.

Buy a Panasonic KX-TGM something with answering machine. You can block individual numbers or a block of 100 numbers.

I generally ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise and this was no exception. No message was left by the caller. Reading through the other comments, though, if the caller is Next Steps Australia - a support service for people fleeing domestic violence situations - why are they putting people off by not speaking if the call is answered or by not leaving a message. It seems very unprofessional and definitely not in the best interests of the charity.

No message left... as usual. Same old unrecognised numbers. I feel like I'm the one paying for a phone service that is just a means for others to use and abuse. Blocked.
