For anyone who has a landline you cannot block numbers, but you can get yourself a caller ID phone and if after answering you identify it as a nuisance call, write the number down alongside your phone and next time it rings with the number identified on your phone, don't answer or do what I do: pick up and hang-up quickly without answering.

Surveys are as annoying as scams. Tell them to get lost.

NOT A SCAM. CHECKED ALL FACTS AND WENT THROUGH PROCESS. This is genuine. I was suspicious at first. Spoke to a lovely man from Auckland NZ called Simon. They conduct worldwide research on standard of living. Questions absolutely genuine, no information taken that would put me at risk, clear script, polies and procedures followed. Poor Simon, said he was lucky if 1 person an hour answered the survey questions. 5 minutes to complete. No harm caused to me. Grateful tele-researcher who was very clear and obviously very happy to have had one more participant to add to his (possibly commissioned job!)

Time waster wanting information for free from me but doing their best to avoid answering my questions of them. I mean, why are they interested in my income from all sources?

Caller: He said Gallop but I think he was impersonating them.

a survey thjngo asking me about how I used the internet and if I had any minors in my house and how they used the internet. On my Samsung it pops up as a registered number and I've been called by them all week and will block this number. variety of different people pick up each time so yeah ignore these guys

They have registered this number to come up as "Trusted Number" so you will answer it. Not even my samsung scam blocker got this one. Such a pain. And people wonder why no one answers calls anymore.

Bloody scam callers. They really should be prosecuted. They waste valuable time and energy and create a lot of angst. I'd like to stick their phones where the sun don't shine.

They call at all hours of the day, even late at night, instant red flag. Ringing every day, so blocked them. Don't know number, won't answer.

Keep getting calls after hours, on weekends etc.. I have never answered this No.
