Called to advise that my next electricity bill will be cheaper as the energy provider has reduced the rate.
Wanted to know info from my last energy bill. Told them the call was not legitimate and hung up.

Told me they could give me a cheaper electricity rate and that from next month my bill would be cheaper. It was of course a scam as he wanted to know my details… like address etc…

I had the same thing happen to me, multiple times from this number!

Just had a call from this number he was claiming to be from some Company representing Energy Australia, he was laughing and giggling on the phone as well. Was saying he could give a better rate for Electricty then he was quickly asking me to get a copy of my last electricity bill .I told him no way im not giving you any of my information. Your not even my electricity provider. Getting sick of these Indian scammers ringing everyday . There scum

Rang hung up quickly left no voicemail message. I’m blocking the number

Cheaper electricity rates. Before you call please understand what a kwh is. Also please understand what the electricity rates are. If you don't understand these two simple items so why are you calling me. Go and get a real job and stop bothering me.

Also a scam call re cheaper power bills

The male Indian caller said he was from (muffed) company and he said Australian government was reducing the electricity prices and therefore my monthly electricity bill would be cheaper “ OK” he kept saying “ok” to get a “yes” out of me 🤔 and what my last bill was.
I remember someone telling me that they want you to say “yes” a few times as this is a form of agreement. I quickly hung up.

I also received call talking about reducing costs on next power bill. Says he was from a company called Australia Choice Power, government organisation. I asked him how he got my number he said he is calling form government organisation, I asked again how he got my number and he hung up.
