Called me last night, when I answered there was just silence.

this is a call from energy australia, ignore it

This number just called my mobile, I answered, they were silent, I said 'hello' again and they hung up.

My number is not listed and it is extremely rude to call and then not speak.

I too am not a fan of telemarketers. They give internet / online marketing companies a bad name!

Same thing, got a call but no one spoke and then they hung up. Strange.

Just had a call from this number. They hold on for awhile after you have answered then just hangup.

Called the number back and got a voice mail of 'state energy consultative' maybe the new trading name of energy australia? I detest cold calling/temelmarketing

This was some telemarketing company for Energy Australia. I'm blocking this number on my mobile so I didn't pick up, but each time when the number was blocked, they straight away rang me again without caller ID.

Just got a call from this number and they hung up as soon as I answered.

Same thing happened to me as the rest of you by the sounds.

Received 2 missed call - tried to ring - recording that "your call could not be conntect please check the number and try again"

It hung up as soon as I answered, so I guess their auto dialler didn't hear my soft voice!

These people will call me 5 times a day and then for a month or more. every time I answer no one speaks, then they hang up. Often I am in the middle of something and it is very annoying to have to stop to answer the phone

I've had this number (or one just like it) call my mobile a few times. With the latest call (today) I've now added their number as a contact. Next time they call, "Telemarketer - Ignore" will apear. If they use a variety of numbers, it's not so helpful but I'll know soon enough. ;)

It's the sales reps trying to reach their quota of sales calls for the day without actually trying to make a sale. At least they gang up after 10 seconds.....

have had two calls from this number. no message on one and a hang up after i answered on the other. very annoying.

Have had multiple calls from these people, screamed at them once to say not interested and dont call anymore now have them calling 2-4 times a day! i dont get what the kick they get out of it is! i will just not answer anymore but why is there no way we can do anything about this?
