Hung up when I answered saying "Hello."

Missed the call so rang back as a courtesy. Message bank full and wont accept any more messages.

I kept getting calls from numbers I didn't recognise, and whenever I rejected the call it would continue to ring 3 more times.
This was happening every day, same times and about 2-3 times a day.
So I finally answered and some girl (sounded like she was driving) answered and said "hello", but hung up when I replied, "hello"

Telemarketting, keep calling you back, Dont bother picking up

They rang as soon as I answered they hung up. Called back and went to voicemail then said they can't accept any more messages and it disconnected the call

Is this similar t going on around America that is a scam - when you answer the call it's an automatic charge scam ????

called and hung up as i answered..... Typical, how does this help business ? any business, unless one is in the business of annoying people, or demonstrating a lower than normal IQ and competency level..... anyway number is blocked..... i have quite a collection of such numbers now ......

They keep ringing I don't answer but when I did no one there. It comes up saying their from Victoria

The company has to with insurance and is a survey call, I'd say we've all spoken to the same person from this extension. Also hung up when I said I wasn't interested and asked to be removed from the system.

I would recommend adding your number to the DNR (Do Not Call Register) https://www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/register-your-numbers/
