Call from a man with an Indian accent, there was a lot of background noise - sounded like a call centre.

He asked to know whether I had any bills under my name and whether the property I was at was receiving electricity bills for commercial or residential purposes.

When I asked why he needed to know he said he was from a electricity company that works with multiple electricity retailers e.g. AGL. He wants to know details to determine whether he can provide a cheaper rate for electricity.

I said no thanks, he hung up.

Sounded like a scam call.
