I've had exactly the same experience and it was starting to annoy me as I told them that I would contact them when I had enough money to donate again (don't call me, I'll call you). But then I thought about it - despite what is probably a low success rate with these calls, they still must generate enough income to make it worthwhile. And we all know they need every penny they can get. So I'm a bit more tolerant of it now!
