It came with a warning that it was potential scam. I rejected the call and then blocked the number. Sadly, the only way is to keep blocking one number at a time.

I just block these callers but I wish there was something more severe that I could do.

I have blocked their numbers, but they still keep calling. F...K.. this sh*t calls all of the time since, no one is interested. So please, any telemarketing stuff is to get your grip right for once, stop annoying others with your nuisance stuff.

Last 4 numbers from both calls the same.

they dont make the calls from a phone service, they are made by VOIP or IP on computer and the number they present is simply that -'a number'- it could be any number, yours, mine, a valid number a disconnected number etc. these calls are not made by valid connected services, there is nothing to disconnect. hidden behind VPN

Why dones Telstra not block all these numbers?

When I first answered the phone, there was a moment of silence before the caller spoke. He sounded Indian, asked for me by name, and said did I remember going in the draw for a Samsung galaxy phone. I hung up.

Do Not Block number, create/add contact ✅Ignore and let them keep ringing.
Just after the phone rings then put on silent until they go to message bank.
Look up the number via google and see if valid number or scam.
