Caller: Foreign man from National Alliance Group

Overseas call centre backgroung noises from an Eltham Vic number. Asking about my electricity and gas consumption and would I be happy to compare the market using United Energy as an optional provider. His command of english was such that no respectable aussie company would dare to have him promote their organisation. Obvious scammer, hang up and block him. I have had lots of scam calls from 03 8400 .... numbers.

The ACMA should make spoofing of telephone numbers technically impossible. I know this is feasible because I used to work in the telecomms industry. John

Energy Retailer pest from Eltham. Funny thing is similar numbers call me about other scams. (03) 8400 6562 call me about National Alliance Group and on another occasions same number they say they are nbn technical department. I have reported this to Scamwatch.

I receive calls from this number and similar multiple times each week - I block each of them as they come but they keep coming :(
