Got calls from this number many times a day but I do not answer as I know too many fraud people around, block the number and dont answer if they are genuine they will leave a message, very annoying

The number above is one of a series of numbers which I believe are all linked to a call centre I know not where. Irrespective of the number they call me from the conversation goes along the following lines: The caller says "Hello Mr Tran" and tells me that they can save me money on electricity bills at my home in Prahran Vic. I point out that I am not Mr Tran, I don't know who he is, I do not live in Victoria and they obviously have a wrong number. Sometimes they apologise and promise to delete me from their calling list. On one occasion the caller asked me to pass the phone to Mr Tran! This is an ongoing annoying situation. It seems the call centre has been sold a list of people to cold call and somehow my mobile number is on that list against someones name who isn't me. They do not delete me from the list, they simply call me from a different number (I block these as they come in) later. So far I have received a couple of dozen calls in the last year.

Caller: Select Your Offer

Literally six calls between 1pm and 7pm.

Caller: Silence then hung up

Just another of the thousands of spam calls we seem to be getting at the moment. Called me 4 times today

Energy Company switchers, couldn't get off the phone quick enough once they realised Ergon is our only power company so we can't switch :D

I called back number (03) 8400 6038 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Indian salesman. Asked him to delete my details. He simply did not want to listen. Total nuisance.
