My brother got a call from (03) 8400 6020. Rang it and a female voice recording says 'Welcome to Contact Experts, one the leading LEAD GENERATION providers.

What's 'lead generation' you ask? Well, you know when you clicked on that online pop-up to... take part in a survey... give feedback... enter a competition... win a free whatever... get a year's worth free... well THEY GOTCHA DETAILS and what's more you gave them and their partners PERMISSION to contact you based on your interest. Another scam. Wish the government would hurry up and outlaw this sort of unscrupulous invasive online activity and the telephone calls and emails that result from them. Its just organised preying on people, in particular the vulnerable and naive.
