Caller: The Wine Group (aka Oakroad Estate)

I’ve lost count of the number of calls I’ve received from The Wine Group (aka Oakroad Estate), from at least 24 different numbers. With multiple calls from some numbers. They never leave a message and you can never return their call. They often call outside business hours and on weekends.

I emailed them at customerservice @ oakroadestate.com.au, as they don’t appear to have an inbound phone number, and complained about their harassment and threatened to contact the ACCC. I’ve requested the details of someone in management, which they won’t provide. Even their email signatures don’t contain phone numbers (or staff surnames). It appears they don’t want to receive calls, but are happy to spam us with them. They have requested my phone number so as to opt me out of receiving future calls.

Every day calls! blocked number and calls again. Spoke to them to say not interested, calls again on another number a week later.

Repeated calls from this number and similar. Meets definition of stalking. Authorities need to follow this group up and enforce a stop notice.

I want to know why do we have to put up with these unwanted callers. What can be done I have had enough.

As soon as I answered they hung up, this is the third time they have called and hung up when answered.

Started getting these calls after a purchase from BWS in Surry Hills Sydney. It should be illegal to pass on and sell your details to another company.

3rd call this week from different numbers. Next stop ACMA and then the ombudsman

Said my internet was being used by someone else in another country. Provided some sort of report with a name using my details. Wanted me to download app from store so they could remote control and remove problem. Comments on app they wanted all pointed out scammers. Googled the phone number n here we are. Indian accent saying Telstra employee but got confused when I asked for ID or employment number and why download a non Telstra app. All falls apart from there on, give em a bit of stick and they get sh*tty n swear. Said don't blame us if something goes wrong. Capital punishment should be considered 😉

Spam, pretty well put together. Ask if it is piss yellow, pause, 'yes'.

Constantly calls, multiple times a day and my phone won't always block
