Immediately after answering I said “I’m not interested in whatever your selling.”

He got very defensive and said “sir I’m not selling anything. Do you know why I’m calling?”

I said “ok why are you calling?”

He then went silent and hung up.

Caller: Said he was from Unique Electricity

Trying to give me a better deal for electricity. Called 3 times, I answered on the 3rd and just waited for them to say something first. Then he said hello and my name as a question. After denying assistance I hung up and googled the company which didn’t come up.

Have been called 3 times in the last week by numbers beginning with 03 8372, each time asking for someone (not me). Says they're from some energy company.

Called and asked for some name (not mine). Told them they had the wrong number and hung up.

Refused to take my name off their call list

answered, then hung up. No response

Caller: 'Well connect'

noone at other end, after about 3 seconds, beep, and voice says "goodbye"
