They call and hang up so I just like to call them back like ten times just to hang up on them and maybe give them a bit of abuse while I'm at it aswell.

They called me 3 times on Sat. Blocked this number.

If you have ever completed an online competition application this is how they have your contact details and personal information.
Online competition companies don’t make money promoting giveaways. There income is derived from selling your details.
Unfortunately your number is now out there and it just keeps cycling between call centres.

? clients, benefits and services??? poor message bank and hold music. no idea if legit company. doesn't sound like it

I don't answer numbers I don't know but just had a call from this number and let it ring out. They came up as from Craigieburn and I don't know anyone from there. I have now blocked them.

This is now the third number I've had to block from the same scammers

Insurance company located in India. Called back and they asked me about my current insurance. I said no comment and they hung up.

RE: Competitions handing on numbers... I have never participated in any competition, because I knew this stuff. Unfortunately a stupid woman called Bernadetta gave her number in a competition at an Expo toward the end of last year, and got her number wrong, giving them mine. I found out because one person was calling from a diabetes charity in Qld and wasn't actually a scammer, but the poor man got an earful before I let him tell me who he was. He had all her details and explained how he got them. So I could happily kill bloody Bernadetta. It did remind me that genuine companies also buy this data, so I try to be more polite now. But I pretty much block them after I've hung up.

Did the usual delayed pick up and then onto a Indian call centre. Is a scam.. said his not selling anything . I blocked the number straight away.

This number came up as from Craigieburn and I don't know anyone from there. I have now blocked them.

I agree with the competition comment about giving away your number when entering magazine comps because entering them is my pasttime & 😠boy am I paying for it now!! I am receiving continued scam calls.

Client benefits, they call everyday. Usually at 6am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phone didn't report this one so answered as I was waiting on a business call. Refused to answer their questions and sternly asked for my details to be removed from their database.
