Amazing, when I told him he was a scammer he got aggressive. Started lecturing me on how the marketing industry worked in Australia, and said I had recently completed a survey. Said he was from VOICTALK. No record of them. Called the number back and it doesn't exist. I don't believe that the Telco's can do nothing about these pricks. More likely a case of couldn't be bothered, (besides they ( the Telco's) must be making a motza out of the tens of thousands of scam calls made every day).

Got a call from this number today. Did the usual google check, and this forum came up.
Obvious a telemaketer. Wish they would stop these annoying calls.

2 calls within ten minutes of each other but my phone blocked them as I don't answer any numbers I don't know and have no relatives in the East either, this website is great I have been able to look up several bogus numbers that have been bothering me, well done guys much appreciated

Extremely rude and condescending man who repeatedly told me he could give me a better deal on home phone and Internet packages - refused to confirm who he worked for and when I told him I hadn't heard where he was for kept saying "I have told you this, isn't it"
He hung up on me after I called him a smart ass (he was and good riddance!)

Guy with English accent called Dave wanting to talk to owner of phone about talk and text . Told him he hadn't permission to ring me ! Tried calling back always busy now blocked

get daily calls from this number. always just silence then hangs up. now i've blocked them

I too am getting calls from this number and it is very annoying.

A guy called "Michael" from voice talk rang from this number, tried to do a deal with modems and our landline on behalf of Telstra. Rang Telstra they said it IS a scam and blocked the number.

Constant calling, rings and hangs up before answering, Thanks for the heads up guys, number blocked

Got a missed call from this number after 7pm - looked up & saw this site ..now blocked
