I have had two phone calls and each time the caller said that I was behind in my NAB payments. He sounded so convincing and he gave me a genuine NAB number to phone. I haven't phoned them yet as I am looking back at my NAB account from a number of years ago to see if I am really behind in payments. It is stressful.

It's NAB not a scam, but depending on who you call in NAB they won't recognise the number so they just say it's a scam, but it's not.

Persistent pricks keep calling and messaging and referring to me as Jo Cheng, now I know from experience that NAB are thieving dogs so I bet this is a scam

Called me in the middle of a meeting. Caller identified from NAB and I know that they do these calls every few months to touch base so didn't think it was important, so I tell them to call me back another time as I can't take the call at the moment.
She then asked "What are you busy with?"
Me thinking "none of your business?" said "It's business hours, I'm at work"
"Oh what do you do for work?"
"?? I said I'm busy, is this urgent?"
"I can't tell you until I get into your account"
This went back and forth a couple of times, and I told her she can call me tomorrow
"You're free any time tomorrow? You don't have to work?"
What kind of customer service is this? So rude!

Calling to try and stop you from jumping to other banks :) or let you know settlement is complete. Either way, it is an outgoing number only and you cant return their call. They dont leave messages

Continuously calls. Seems like a scan telemarketer.

Received a call from that number. They hung up when I answered with a business name (as opposed to a person's name).

Call from NAB to discuss options in regard to home loan fixed interest period expiring. Legitimate call, but definitely a nuisance, as they call several times a day, every day if you don't answer.

Not a scam. NAB called me on this number to discuss my home loan. After the call I read some of the comments here and decided to call NAB and check. They had all the details of the call on their system and assured me in was them calling.

NAB Home Loan Specialists proactively reaching out to customers to see if they are satisfied with their home loan interest rate. I told them I was uncomfortable confirming my details as they called me so they kindly suggested to call the general NAB phone number after. Called generic number and they confirmed it was someone from their team, they ended up reducing my interest rate. I did miss their first call and couldn’t call the number back but after speaking to the bank directly, all seemed to add up.

It is legit. It's an auto dialler at NAB, hence the delay when connected.

Valid NAB number calling to discuss the load account. The guy sounded legitimate, he had all minute information about my loan correctly. I answered and gave my name and DOB. Later searching for this number on google got me worried as many has reported this number as scam. So I called up NAB and confirmed. The NAB lady checkedthe records and said someone from NAB did call you at XX:XX this morning and discussed abc, xyz... This information matched with the caller. So this is a genuine NAB home loan department number (mostly client retention team)

It's most likely NAB. Immediately after my missed call, I got an email about a personal loan offer. That matches up with what people are saying here. It's NAB outbound sales.
