    Caller: some Indian lowlife.

This number rang with a female computer generated voice saying that they were going to deduct $99.99 from my Amazon Prime account. I do not have one of course. The option given was to press '1' so that we'd be able to talk to their 'accounts' department. Clearly part 2 of the scam was them asking for card details and CRN number so that they could reverse the fictitious $99 debit transaction.

I waited some time before ringing that number. 03 would make it a Melbourne number - but, as expected the sleazebag on the other end had a thick Indian accent.
