I forget their name (Sky-something?). They are LEGIT NBN installers contracted by NBN. I've had them out before to install my FW NBN and now again to shift an appointment to have it fixed (damn it)

Caller: Said they were 3rd party internet techs

Wanted to make a time to check our internet after I reported an issue with our internet.
but they weren’t from iiNet, they were 3rd party techs. Also said iiNet hadn’t contacted them. Strange because I only reported it directly to iiNet and they already booked a technician to come out when I reported the issue.
Could be legit but I am very cautious!
