They rang and asked for a 'very strange name'that is definately not known to us, did not say why they were calling and provided no information what so ever. Could cause a lot of problems if this is how they treat their customers!!!!!

yes, they ring and then you can't get through. my mum just lost her husband and so got this call from this number without explaining why they were calling etc. not good enough! and now I am trying to ring back and keep getting an engaged tone!!!

Yes this is City West Water's number. Unknown, I tried calling it back and it cuts out instantly. Searched online for the number and found this, and then the above comment tipped me off. My g/f works there and, I just confirmed, she had tried to call.

CWW's main phone number is 131 691, so return any calls from (03) 8311 7000 on that 13 number.

I spoke with City West Water and they explained the reason you can't call back is that you would be calling a specific desk, as they are a call centre you need to call the 131 691. It is not specifically the accounts department. It is the office number for a call centre worker / desk.
