She said she was calling from the Salvation Army and asked whether I could make a monthly donation. She offered to set it up by taking my credit card details over the phone. I told her I was happy to help, but I didn’t feel safe providing my card details by phone, as my bank has advised never to share banking information this way. After I said this, she hung up.
