This number showed up on my mobile this morning. With an 03 7prefix, (Vics are 03 9 or 03 8) I gathered straight away it was dodgy. Thankful to this site to confirm this and have now blocked

Caller: energy australia (03) 7544 0075 Asks if my electricity discount was paid to me! Then hangs up? Very strange,could not pronounce my name correctly, usually means foreign.

when I asked are you from energy co. person replied NO. then he proceded to tell me he was from some energy co. HOW STUPID! He just laughed. I blocked the number.
