Claimed they were from Telstra and started talking some nonsense about my internet dropping down and going from private IP to public IP. Absolute nonsense trying to techno-babble me. Firstly I don't use Telstra, secondly if I did, they could care less about my internet setup. Thirdly, do you even know how the internet works? We all have public IP addresses for modem/routers because that's literally how devices connect to each other over the internet.
Don't be fooled. If anyone calls you claiming to be some service, say goodbye, and if you think it could be legit, get that company's real phone number and call them yourself and ask them about the call. 99.9999% it's a scam.
