Picks up - silent, then hangs up - highly likely a scam call

Caller: Female

Claiming to be from paypal, used my name. Asked if i had authorised 3 overseas transactions equal to more th $3000. When i said no the lady (Indian accent) said i should change my password immediately. I said i would do it myself online. She then insisted it should be done immediately with her on the phone. That raised my suspicions even further. She was quite insistent saying it might be too late to protect my account. No way!!

Scammer stating they are from Amazon and some one is trying to use your account. I terminated the call, but they already text me a One time code to try to hack into my amazon account.
First call was from (03) 7076 1314, Second call 1hr and 20 minutes later was from (03) 7076 1308.

Caller: Scammer

Scammer. Said they were from the government, said I had a payment that had been "intercepted". I asked what government department, he then called me an idiot and hung up... how rude 😅

Caller: Foreigner or New Australian type

Dodgy person said he was calling from Amazon. This foreign man's command of english was hopeless and I figured he was a con artist straight away. Please block this bad number

Caller: Amazon (apparently)

Asked if I wanted to cancel or approve an Amazon payment, I said I desperately needed it and was so glad they'd called, they immediately hung up. Bummed they didn't want to play for longer :(

Female asked if she was speaking to "used my name" I answered who am I speaking with and the phone went dead.
I had not said yes or no and when I tried to call back no answer - blocked number now

(03) 7076 1308 pretending to be Telstra. (03) 7076 1307 don’t know, no message. (03) 7076 1270 didn’t leave message.

Caller: (03) 7076 1308

Saying it was my bank and asking if I have done a transaction of $499 dollars. I said no and the call was terminated. It was definitely scam and I blocked the number.

Starting speaking with an indian language so had no idea what they were saying. Just hung up. Obvious by the spoofed number and pause on pick up.

Scam call trying to get my IP address etc claiming to be calling due to telstra internet im at risk blah blah

Claims to be from Vodafone offering discounts. Had similar calls for upgrades from Vodafone in the past so thought nothing of it. OTP given then I realised something was not right. Later they tried to access my email acct but I already changed my pw and locked down my accounts and reported them to the authorities

Claims to be from Vodafone. Knows all my details - seems legitimate as had similar call in the past offering upgrades and no issues then. OTP sent, I unfortunately gave it to them. They tried to access and change my email password.

Caller: Scammers

Scammers. Hung up when they knew they could not go any further.
I asked them what my last order and delivery was which they could not answer.

Pretending to be PayPal - he gave it away when he was concerned that my Husband was at home!!!!

scam (03) 7076 1309 & (03) 7076 1308 if you ring them back the call is not answered

Reverse Au has a report on 31/03/2025 - suspicious call with other calls received with similar numbers. no voicemail left.

This number came up as suspected spam, I was wondering if anyone else had the same thing happen with this number. Btw, no message was left.
