Caller: Telstra

Said they were from Telstra, but when I asked questions to verify this + asked info on my internet, they hung up. sounded Indian and probably a scammer

Answered, and just hung up. Autodialler or spammer, not sure, but blocked now.

Caller: Said they were Paypal

Answered the call they knew my last name, said they were from PayPal but the phone call sounded weird guy was indian but sounded like putting on an Australian accent. I hung up and blocked them just for the fact it didn't seem right with the way they were calling.

Tech support scammer claiming to be calling about my internet

Said they were email security dept. Helping me with my email security issues. I hung up.

Caller: Supposedly from Service NSW

Female Asian using a Vic number was first red flag. Said they detected some unusual activity. Wanted to check so she sent a code to my email (which they knew). I had double security so they sent a code to my phone number. Never tell the caller anything!!!!

Answered, it was really muffled sounded like the person was in the car. They proceeded not to say anything. Hung up.

Caller identified as "Peter from dellservices" needed to speka to me about my internet connection. I hung up this time, did not have time to play a game with him.

Called saying they were from Amazon web services and that somebody was trying to buy an iPhone on my card at 5 am. They wanted to confirm it was a legitimate transaction. As soon as I responded they hung up. They did not provide any details of my bank or card.

Scam caller. Said they were from Optus. When I said I don't have an optus account, they hung up

Said they were from Cybersecurity Australia to tell me they had received a request for an iphone then called me an 'idiot lady' when I asked who they were

spam - called several times often quiet and then hangs up

Said that they were from Vodafone and offering a 40% discount to my monthly bill but I had to confirm my numbers with them first.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra and asking me to check my IP as it has gone from 'private' to 'public'.
Scammer attempting to get access to my equipment.
I always respond by asking them 'which IP ?' as I have several. They hang up.

Missed call, they didnt leave a message. Strangely I have a Telstra appointment IN PERSON - however I thought they would contact you via the Telstra App??? These days you cannot be too sure who people are.

Caller said they were from PayPal and wanted me to verify a suspicious request on my account. Told them I would only deal with PayPal directly via website and they disconnected the call.
