tried returning call and nothing so i blocked it

Called me asking to speak with me (used my first and last name), said they were calling from Commenwealth bank. I told them I am not with commonwealth and they asked who I'm with. I replied "I'm not going to disclose that information" and they hung up on me. Called back and couldn't be connected.

Does the do not call register even work? this number has called me 13 times today, when i answer it does a loud buzz and hang up.

Pretended to be Amazon . Hung up

Caller stated they were from Amazon security, I said I don’t think you are and they immediately hung up. Number blocked, very annoying.

Caller: Scammer impersonating PayPal

Slow to connect international VOIP routed call. A male with heavy asian accent tried to convince me they are calling from PayPal about my recent transaction. My most recent transaction with PayPal is half a decade ago.

Didnt leave a message and tried to call back but no reply. Blocked number

They claim to be from commonwealth bank and advise they're holding a transaction and ask for you to log into your internet banking to approve it.

Your call couldn't be connected when I called it back!

Answered just in case - sounded like I'd been pocket dialed in an office? Very strange. Hung up and blocked the number.

A lady with Indian accent claimed that she is from Telstra.

Says from Melbourne, I pickup and nothing is said for 1 minute then proceeded to hang up. Do not engage definitely a scam

Pretending to be ANZ bank with a fraud transaction.

Cussed me out then hung up cos I am smarter than her.

Claimed to be with Telstra asking if I knew my
IP was changed from private to public. We don’t have anything with Telstra so I knew it was BS.

Came up as landline but when I tried to ring back I got a robot message saying Optus advises that the mobile number you called has been disconnected.
So, it’s a scam

Answered the call and they hung up immediately - assuming a scammer calling to see if my number is active
