Heavily accented 'lady' claimed to be calling from Telstra - she had my name. I put on a heavy accent myself and pretended not to understand her so she hung up and I blocked the number.

Suspicious number

Getting daily calls from random unknown numbers. My phone flags them as potential spam so I don't answer, and going by the comments that's probably the smart move. I block the number but just get another call from a slightly different number the next day. Very annoying.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Amazon Security Services. Number appeared to be from Melbourne, but was a heavily accented woman. After asking if I purchased an iPhone 16 on my Amazon account and I answered "yes", she hung up.

Some Indian lady saying she was from cyber crimes and asked me for my full name dob and address. I hung up quickly and blocked the number

Number called me at 11:44am on a Friday. I did not answer, and no voice message was left. Phone displayed warning saying "WARNING: Suspicious calling pattern" Do not answer or call back this number.

Just received a Telstra warning when this call came through saying this number has a suspicious calling pattern. Naturally I didn't answer because clearly it is a SPAM call. Don't answer and block number.

Pretended to be from Telstra. I told them my internet isn’t Telstra so she said it was something about the IP address. I knew it was a scam, but it was incredibly noisy in the background and the call was glitchy so they hung up before I could.

Few hours later, same number with a different last digit called my husband. Blocked.

Indian sounding woman who had to quickly turn off the loud Indian music. Then said she was from Telstra and my IP address had gone from private to public. When I said it sounds a bit scammy, she yelled at me to shut my mouth and hung up!
