Indian called claiming to be from Telstra. Said he was calling about my internet. I have never been a Telstra customer…

Yes, its s scam or at the very least spam.

The scam caller knew my name

Caller: It was saying it’s the verification of people and it told it to F off

It was saying it’s the verification of people and it told it to F off, very loud and noisy background, I can hear my echo

Rang and did not leave message. If they don't leave a message I don't answer /call back. Assume a Scam.
