This number has come up as potential fraud on my phone, no message was left.

Caller: Pretended to be Amazon

They pretend to be Amazon . Insist your account was hacked. I played along for a bit. They become quite aggressive and very forceful. Would be frightening for oldies Beware.

Claiming to be Telstra - issue with IP - called them out as a scam and hung up/blocked number

Hung up after five seconds of silence.

Scammer claiming to be from Telstra

Claimed to be from Telstra asking about internet privacy, gave the exhibition st Melb address but something still felt off. Could have looked up the office address online before ringing me. Ended the call.

Fraud calling from Commonwealth Bank. The previous week it was the Macquarie Bank claiming my accounts had been compromised. The scariest aspect of the call was that it came through as the actual number for bank. He brazenly told me to look the number up on google to verify. Not sure how they do it but becoming more sophisticated.

Pretending to be someone from Commonwealth bank. What a bunch of grubs.

Came up on phone as Potential Fraud. The usual call centre type call. Silence after answering for 5 seconds or so before connecting, didn't bother waiting, hung up.

Caller: A man claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank

The man calling me claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank and wanted to address an issue with my credit card, but I don’t have a credit card with them.
I just hung up.

Pretending to be Telstra - total scam

Pretended to be from the security department at Com Bank

I received a call from this number shortly after receiving an email saying that my paypal account had been used to pay for someone's Amazon prime account. The person apparently is in the NT. I checked my paypal account , it hadn't been accessed. I didnt answer the call and the caller didn't leave a message.

Rang me claiming to be commonwealth bank
That someone from America had made a $400 transaction
From my net saver account then they hung up

Said they were Telstra and noticed that the internet IP address was not private and I 'MUST' change all the settings now and they will tell me how to. I hung up on them and blocked number

Scammer told me someone was trying to log into my commbank account and then also said they charged $400.00. Was trying to get me to log into my bank account and provide details and access to ‘get a refund’. Got very impatient and aggressive when I kept asking him questions. I hung up.

Caller: Said they were Commonwealth Bank

Told me they were Commonwealth Bank, calling to confirm if I had made a transaction of $499. I began questioning them, told them I couldn't possibly confirm anything until they told me who I had supposedly transferred this money to. They hung up as I asked them more questions.
