Caller: Apparently PayPal security department

PayPal scam trying to say I had a potential fraudulent transaction by someone named Greg Smith. Told the guy to duck off

Women claiming to be from PayPal telling me that they noticed a transaction to someone in the US for $799. I told her that PayPal doesn’t call customers and she started yelling at me saying I had to decide if I wanted to cancel it or let it go through. Told her I would sort it myself as she clearly wasn’t from PayPal and she kept yelling at me until I told her she clearly doesn’t work for PayPal and then hung up on me

Caller: I don’t know

Told me someone had been trying to make an overseas payment of $400 from my bank account. When I refused to login they hung up.

Said NBN , scammers

Caller: Apparently a "certified technician from Telstra"

Got a call from a lady going on and on about my IP address being public and trying to get access to my devices. Scam call trying to hijack devices and steal private data. These days any idiot around the world can call as if calling from local or mobile Australian numbers. Looks like I need to stop answering any incoming calls unless I personally know the number. If they leave a voicemail message or text me, great. Otherwise I don't think I need to bother about it.

Ebay scam told me I had AC did not kept telling me I owed money told him to f off and stop scamming kept swearing did not like the abuse hung up haha

Caller: Scam pretending to be Telstra technical department

Said he was from Telstra's technical department calling about my account. I don't have an account. Was clearly a scam. I hung up on him.

Call from ‘Kevin’ supposedly from NAB fraud department. Long pause before caller spoke. Hung up on me when I challenged him.

Called both today and yesterday afternoon but did not leave a message
