Caller: Claimed to be Oz Energy Australia

There was a delay in connecting call once answered, first sign of not being from VIC despite area code. Claimed to be calling about the government rebate of $2,500 for hot water service and asking about if my system is gas or electric. Did not disclose where they were calling from until I prompted them. Claimed calling from Collin’s street so I offered to come speak to them in person since we work in the same street he became defensive and disclosed my personal information including address to me without completing a privacy check to confirm I was who I said I was, clearly not a professional call. He Ended the call after I questioned whether the call was coming from Australia
After some googling definitely not a legit call rather a SCAM

I answered this call and I only said Hello once and just listened, they didn’t answer so I hung up, probably a scam or telemarketing

No message ...was expecting a "local" call so rang Back....;. Female answered and began to say how much I would save with new hot water service. I ended call.
