This well spoken English language female voice told me there was a $900 debit request to my PayPal account, and wanted me to press 1 or 2 to confirm or speak to the Executive Manager (no less!). Realised this was rubbish and hung up, blocked the number.

Scammers about CC fraud valued at $900. Beautiful recorded (female) English language voice who pronounced 'shopping' as "show-ping".( Obviously they are now using AI) When will the communications Minister force Telstra to act on the thousands of customers numbers being spoofed? They have zero excuse because the numbers are all listed and reported on sites like this. Half the work has been done & yet Telstra is doing nothing/nada/zilch.
