Scammers trying to say internet will be down and wanting you to connect to something that presumably they can use to hack you

Caller: Free Electricity Monitor

When I said I was renting they hung up. Knew my first name though.

Blocked it.

hung up when I answered. 4th call in two days. Now blocked.

Caller: I didn’t answer

I had a call from a number not on my contact list so didn’t answer- they didn’t leave a message but looks like scammers

Did not leave a message. But it seems like the right thing not to answer in the first place

I answered and someone spoke briefly, but they kept breaking up. That happened for a few seconds and then they hung up. I have now blocked their number.

Guy called Robert claiming to be from the Government Solar Panel Rebate. Knew my name. Said not interested, he asks why not and then hung up.

Answered the call but no person on the line. Robocall probably connected with unwanted marketing or scam.

Returned a missed call only to hear the message that said The number you’ve called is disconnected.
Couldn’t have been to important then.

Optus says disconnected when you call back.. scammers

Caller: Someone in India.... probably...

Claimed to have an English name with an obvious overseas asian accent. Asked me if I knew about the 'government rebate' for solar panel. I said I was in a rental and that was the end of that. This is the second such call I've had, but not from this number. Calling back on this number I got "The number you have called is not connected". Obvious scam.

No message left.

I wish they would all stop calling 🤦‍♀️

Phone automatically blocked it, by the look of the other comments, it was right.
