Got a call about a Government Incentive - sounded like an indian call centre, theys called so many times is ridiculous. Scammer or telemarketer - who knows. Unwanted thats for sure.

Received a call yesterday! Ring ring. Hello (me), scammer = hello is this Rodney Rednob (incognito name) Why? I asked. None of you business he said and asked again is this Rodney red nob (incognito name) ? I hanged up at the point!

Missed a call from this number, did not leave a message, in view other comments re: this number, I have blocked.

Called and let go to voicemail as didn’t know the number. No message left. Now blocked the number, thanks to the above feedback. Averaging scam calls of x5 a week.

Indian call centre that knew my first name rang 3 times in two days. Told her I was going to report her as a scam caller. She said "Oh no, no". Then, like the good Aussie gentleman that I am, I hung up on her.

This guy rang me and said is this (my name) and I replied sorry who’s speaking and they hung up.

Telemarketer wants to attend my home and install IHD energy monitor. States its on behalf Victorian Energy Program.
Knew my first name and postcode. Would not provide his company name. If they are not on this list they cannot provide free service.

Several calls from this number recently. I never answer if caller unidentified. If important they will leave a message... thanks for this advice though. These calls make my 98 yr old friend’s life very frustrating as she can’t understand that people can be such a*se*oles. She can hardly walk so to get to her phone is a lot of trouble.

Repeat calls. I don’t answer. Judging by the messages here, they’re prevalent! Is anyone investigating the history & shutting them down I wonder?

Caller: Call Centre selling Electricity

Nuisance call.. Rang 3 times today and finally I picked up the call and the guy knew my first name.. Told the guy off and told him to remove my number.. Since the legislation passed today on regards to malicious SMS. Can we have a legislation for this as well? How the F did u get my number and my name?? Isn't this theft and scam?? Dayummmmm
