Trying to sell solar, sounded very dodgy. They did address me with my first name and surname.

Sid it was ANZ and someone charged my credit card, it was a recorded message. SCAMMER

Recorded message pretending to be from ANZ saying someone is trying to charge your Credit Card $1700. If it's not you press 1, if it's right to charge the Credit Card press 2.

Claimed to be from Telstra A woman said I had an open IP address

number phoned my workplace then hung up on answer. phoned back and a recording says my phonecall cannot be completed at this time. Also came through with the +61 so clearly came from overseas. When is australia going to filter out these scam phone calls

Thanks for the heads up. Two calls from this number today, no message. Looked it up before I called back. Glad I did. Just blocked the number. Is it because I've been writing about scammers?

When I called back it went straight to hang up.
There was no dial tone or message, just hung up on me immediately. Very strange & highly likely scam

Taiwan Accent male, speaking Chinese, saying that you've been travelling in epidemic area 5days ago. And you need to go the isolation area for few days.

Caller: Claimed to be CBA

Claimed to be commonwealth bank. When asked to speak slowly so I could understand (Indian acent), male called replied ‘f*ck you’. I’m unaware that CBA now solicits sexual contact. Just another way for them to screw customers lol

Recorded voice told me I had $900 debit on my Visa card. I don't even have a Visa card. I terminated the call and blocked the number.

Claimed to be from commonwealth bank cyber division

Left a voicemail to press 9 sounds dodgey

Claimed they were from Optus and said I was having a fault. Obvious scam call because do no business with them: clearly more BS from the Optus hack event!
