Didn't pick up because I assumed it was probably a scam or marketing call. They didn't leave a message. Tried ringing back later because I was curious - phone was picked up but only silence at the other end, which confirms my original theory.

Phone rang through but didn't leave a message. Probably a scammer. Got my phone number on a 'Do not call register" but it doesn't seem to do a damn thing!!!

Caller: Someone purportedly from Amazon

I just had a call from this number, saying that someone had used my Amazon account to buy an iPhone in California, and they were going to try to help me not get ripped off. All I had to do was log into my computer and follow the steps he would give me. Lol.
I don't have an Amazon account.

Caller: Visa scam call

This number called re a $2k charge on my Visa card. I asked which bank the card was connected to; he said Commonwealth. I don’t have a Visa card with Commonwealth so asked “so this is about my Visa card attached to my Commonwealth account?” He said yes, I said I don’t have a Visa to which he replied,, “I said Mastercard”… then hung up when I said “you know that’s not right, don’t you?”

Assumed its a scam, no message left
