Pretending to be from some government group trying to give you cheaper electricity. Obviously scammers. They hang up when you don’t give them the answers they want.

Said want to provide free electric device to monitor electricity from VIC government, when I said I already got it Hangup straight away. Maybe some scammers.

My number is on the do not call registry and they still got my number. Second call I’ve had, each time I’ve asked where they got my number for as I’m on the DNC list, they hang up. Would LOVE to know what company so I can breech them.

Caller: Some guy from India or Philipines

Another dodgy caller....they are actually a registered business but use repeated cold calling and harassment of people to drum up business under questionable cirucmstances.

Once they have your details they call and just never give up calling.

Unsolicited phone call to my mobile, offering "free Vic Government" monitoring devices (difficult to understand caller) to be fitted to "my home" in Postcode 3844 (Traralgon, Victoria). Device allegedly providing ability to monitor electricity consumption of the home from a mobile device. Supplied and fitted free of charge. Also offered to replace the shower head for free.
Requested address of the business, told "Melbourne" but caller refused to elaborate further claiming it was "confidential information".
Persisting with the request for address, challenged them this was a scam, the caller referred me to a "supervisor".
The Supervisor said they get paid by the Government, I wanted the address to know who my "tax money" was going to. 'Supervisor" eventually provided a non-existent address in Werribee (1/22 James Street). When challenged about this, caller confirmed the address I provided, then terminated the call - the last of the four calls.
Phone number called from, and given me to call back, does not connect (not available)
I have not had a Victorian address for over 7 years.
The address I provided to them for "installation" of my free device is a fictitious address

Just called no VM left most likely scammer

These dipsticks called me at 10:45am on a Monday morning. How did they get my number? Sick of these scammers... Number came up as Suspected Spam. Thanks to Samsung for filtering out these types of calls...

Said they had received my details becasue I had recently invested in a property or financed a loan. obviously a scam caller.

Called at 8pm on a Friday night and overly familiar - this needs to be stopped. Some sort of free power monitoring decide.

Calls from this number come late in the day, sometimes after 8pm and on Saturdays and Sundays. Never leave a VM. The frequency has increased in the last month.

Called my mobile but I did not answer and they did not leave any message. After reading other comments here I have blocked their number!

They called saying something about. Smart meter and had we received it yet. Asked me to confirm my postcode which I refused to do. Asked for their website address and told them I would call back to confirm and they promptly hung up. Scam.

I've had about 30 of these calls in the last year. Blocked.

Unfortunately they are using a multitude of numbers and I'm not sure how many my handset will block, or whether performance of the device degrades with all this work!

Called me at 3pm on Saturday. I didn't answer the phone. They didn't leave a message. And judging by the comments on here, I have now blocked the number.
