Has called me 20 times today

I had 3 missed calls from this number. I answered 1. The line was bad, breaking up and cut off before the caller managed to introduce himself. Probably VOIP. I could hear it was a guy with Indian accent. After reading the comment here I won't be returning the 3 missed calls from the same number.

I picked up the phone, not intending to speak since almost all of these calls from unknown numbers are scams. I left the moron (sounding as if he was calling from a call centre) saying "Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?" for a while before he finally gave up. That was my small pleasure for the afternoon, especially now that I see that it was indeed a call from the usual scamming scum. I then left the line open or half an hour, but I don't know whether that has any effect when callers are using modern technology. At least it ensured that no other lowlifes would call me for a while.

Will not stop calling, reported them to ACMA as I'm on the do not call register, sworn at them and hung up but they keep calling and won't stop. At this point they're breaking the law by calling me.
