Scammer robocaller using hundreds of different phone numbers that has called me around 1000 times over the past 12 months. When you call back it goes to a AI recorded message saying "thank you for calling customer service, all our agents are busy at the moment, please leave a message" but it then immediately disconnects you. This is a definite scam probably an automated system to check if you contact details are correct after a data breach so that your information can be used to scam you or sold to other scammers by data brokers. The directors of the Telcos in Australia that continue to provide phone numbers to these scammers need to face criminal charges for facilitating these scams. Surely under the Know Your Customer regulations the Telcos are fully aware these organisations are scammers, yet clearly put profits before people or the law.
