Caller: Claimed to be from crypto.com Claimed to be from crypto.com. Said my account had been accessed from Thailand and they attempted to change my email.
They had my email address.
Received a legitimate looking false login from Thailand email to validate what they were saying.
Asked some questions about whether I shared my ID or bank statement.
Then they said I was required by law to answer their questions for an insurance claim.
I suspect they would have been phishing for personal information.

Caller: Claimed to be from crypto.com Had name and email address. Called regarding unauthorized login attempt on account from Singapore and attempt to turn off 2FA. Checked account login history and the login attempt occurred while on the call, not before the call. They asked for account balance. They are using the login attempt email to try to validate their legitimacy but it would seem that the caller is trying to extract personal information or gain unauthorized access.
