Got a call from this number (in an American-style accent) saying that "We have tried to contact you multiple times" regarding an immigration matter. I was given a choice of English (press 1) or Chinese (press 2). I've received calls of this nature before and foolishly decided to engage them in Chinese. The bait that time was that my passport was about to be cancelled due to multiple attempts to contact the department from a Shanghai number. I didn't bother talking to them this time. Since when has the Department of Immigration been specifically concerned with just English and Chinese speakers? This is assuredly a scam. Giving them any information concerning yourself is extremely unwise.

Answered to have a bit of fun. Knew it was a fraud call when the delay in speaking happened. Claimed to be from Vodafone billing department. Yeah right !

Caller: Computer generated womans voice The computer generated voice said that money was going to be taken out of my account and I needed to select various options. I then hung up as it appeared to be a scam.

Caller: Telstra Told me he was calling me from Telstra, asked if I was the only person using my phone and I said yes. He said the reason he was calling was because my IP address was changed from private to public, then asked if there was any changes to my settings made recently. I told him I changed my IP from private to public and then called me a f*cking stupid bitch and told me to f*ck off. These scammers have very little patience but I have more than enough :)

Caller: 'Amazon' Indian sounding woman called saying she was from Amazon, asked me if I had ordered a new iphone. Asked if I had received a security code, when I said no, I got a text from Amazon with a security code which she requested. The text explicitly said Amazon will not ask you for this code. She told me to check my pending purchases for the iphone, all sounding very legit. When I refused again she hung up. Don't answer the call. f*cking pricks.
