Caller: Telstra

Caller stated they were from Telstra and wanted to know my home address and that technical issues had been experienced on home internet. Nil issues experienced and was scam call.

Phoned at 5:43pm WST. Didn’t leave message. Suspect it’s a scammer.

Was a recording from the commonwealth bank asking me to approve money being transferred out of my bank account. Scam call

I have had several calls in the last week from numbers starting with 03 7053,…, indicating they are Melbourne based. So have comments on this site indicating they are scam callers. I have been on the Do Not Call register for a number of years. Legitimate companies are not allowed to call to try to sell you something if you are on the register. Of course scammers don’t obey any laws. None of these callers ever leave a message, so that is another clue.
