Told me my internet domain had changed from private to public, I knew it was a scam so let him talk for a bit, the longer he talks to me the less time he has talking to others. Please be safe x

did not even answer the call as was a Victoria area code - I know no one in Victoria. Scam - blocked and reported

Caller: Pretending to be Amazon security

Tried to get me verification code from Amazon out of me- very sketchy sounding - asked me to read out my code after he claimed to cancel a fraudulent purchase. Dodgy but I can see it working on people. Be careful!

Caller rang at 1.17pm today, 6 Nov '25, but didn't leave a msg. SMS alerted me to 'Potential Fraud'. Actual or attempted fraud is more likely.

I answered. They took a while to respond. I could tell that this was a call centre from all background noise. So I hung up.

This number has been ringing me for months

came at same time as a scam email from WESTPAC - have reported both as SCAM
