Caller: Claimed they were calling re credit card

I received a call from someone who said they were from the bank and two attempts had been made on my Credit Card - one from Amazon Prime for $700 and someone else. They wanted me to authorise the payments over the phone. I asked her to repeat as she had an overseas accent and difficult to understand. I did not continue with the call but rung the above number later to see if it would connect. It says they are from a Marketing Company on the message.
