Called and didn't leave a voicemail. Number doesn't belong to anyone on a Google search

He knew my name but hung up when I asked him to say his name for the third time because he kept mumbling his company name.

The guy called and he knew my first and last name. Claims that "a business I invested in a couple of years ago" has since taken my funds, changed their business trading name, and has used my identity to trade crypto and has made 1.8 BTC in profits. Almost $200k. He asked me repeatedly to "verify these transactions" so they can transfer the profits to my name, as the trades were apparently executed under my name.

As much as I wish someone would donate me $200k, this was obviously a scam. I gave short answers to all his questions, so as not to have my voice recorded and used.

(03) is South Australia area code - phone is saying its a Melbourne Victoria phone call - I didnt answer it and wont if this is the case . I've had other ones for 03 area code with Wenthworth NSW on the phone .

Came up on my phone as 'Possible Spam Call'. Chose not to answer.

Rang the number back, it is not in service - clearly being spoofed for the scam

They called wanting to talk to me about the solar panels on my property. I do not own a house....

Caller: I don't know but they were very Indian!

Query everything this guy says. When we doesn't want to answer he talks over you. In the end, because I asked too many questions, he hung up.
