I declined the call as it was marked as Suspected Spam. I looked it up here without a match. Called it back and got message that the number is not in service. Obviously a spoofed number and not to be trusted.

Not a number I recognised, they didn't leave a message, so as usual checked here and won't even try to return their call. My time is more precious than wasting it on scammers, who are now blocked. Thanks to previous posters who save me the hassle. ;-))

I dont answer unknown numbers, i come here to see who you are. Clearly a lost cause and waste of my time when the number is not listed. No loss. DONT ANSWER UNKNOWN NUMBERS

Caller: said they were government researchers

I got a call from this mob who were asking VERY pointed questions about my home, it's approx. cost, how much I owe. Lied all the way through it. Sounded more like real estate questions rather than government research

I just got this call before writing this - I had a similar one with a different number from NSW but this one is odd as it said it came from Victoria state. I did not pick up but I was worried I missed a call from someone I know out of state so I had a look online. It seems as though this number is another spam for me at least.
