Spammer calling to find active phone numbers. Once answered, my phone was peppered with Chinese scam calls. The didn’t care that I said my name was Fook Yew.

Automated message claiming to be from Telstra and your phone account is going to be disconnected. I didn't listen to whole message and hung up as I am not with Telstra. Has to be a scam.

Presumably a scammer. As soon as I answered, the call ended. Downright bloody annoying as I'm on the do not call register. How they get my number is a mystery!
