Caller: Someone about electric water heater

Trying to talk about the government electric hot water systems. Called several times when I said not interested.

Missed call from this number. No message left. Rang back and got recorded message: “The number you have dialled is currently unavailable “

Rang at 7pm. Ignored.

Caller: Rogue advertisers trying to drum up business for specific Victoria Government rebates focused on assisting Victorians move away from high Carbon emission household equipment such as gas hot water heaters. They have some degree of an association with accredited companies that provide these services but will often misrepresent themselves as either an employee of the State Government or an accredited company BUT they are neither and are operating outside of the law.

These rogue elements disobey the requirements and should just be hung up on unless you are able to obtain a positive ID (which is unlikely) because the Victorian Energy Upgrades team; (03) 9032 1310; energy.upgrades @ delwp.vic.gov.au
