Received a call from this Melbourne number…asking why I had hung up…from a scammer telling me my eBay account was compromised due to a problem with my internet connection. (Her previious call had come from a Perth number!)

Caller: Female but not an Aussie voice

Lady rang, started talking about things I knew nothing about so I told her she had the wrong number. She became agro, said I was being unthruthful so I told her she had rung (my number but I changed the last digit to another). She said sorry and hung up. Then I turned my phone off for the rest of the day.
